2010 Youth Tour
United Electric Cooperative is excited to offer our High School Juniors the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.
One lucky student will win an all-expense paid trip to visit our Nation’s capitol with over 1,500 other Youth Tour delegates from across the nation!
While on the Youth Tour, delegates will have the opportunity to meet with their senators and representatives, as well as visit many of Washington DC’s historical landmarks including the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Iwo Jima and Vietnam Memorials. Also on the agenda are visits to some of Washington DC’s famous landmarks including Mt. Vernon National Cemetery, Smithsonian Museum, Ford Theatre, Washington Monument and the Washington Cathedral.
